Things You Need to Know
1) Almost all of the popular groups in the scene right now started out at Platform. Other than Platform4, the main motive is to let new groups perform. The better performers get opportunities to perform at Hiphop gigs and shows outside.
2) If you're under 16 years old, you need parental consent.
3) Crews shouldn't be more than 5 members and that your act should include Original Rhymes / Lyrics and Music.
Best of the Best
Celebrating its 2nd anniversary, Youthopia is putting together a battle between the best in the scene. YOUTHOPIA XCLA!M '04 LIVE IT UP! is on Saturday, September 4th @ YOUTH PARK and is at 6pm - 10pm . Come early for your good seats.
Contending in the Best of The Best will be:
B-Quartet : a 4 piece pop-funk band
B.A.D : dance
Break Force Crews (BFC) : break and dance
Da Unit : break, rap and dance
Hip Hop Inliner : inline skating and dance
Imran : r&b solo
Freaky Z : rap solo
Cheer Dance : cheer and dance
ALSO FEATURING
Special performances by our "Get Groove" Dance Class Students featuring the moves of funk, jazz and hip-hop. Also showcasing graffiti artwork by Operation Art Core & Project Burnerz
